Devastating news has emerged from Central Africa, where more than 100 miners are feared dead following an incident at a gold mine near the border between Cameroon and the Central African Republic.
It is reported that the incident happened around 3pm on Tuesday, August 13, in the village of Zamboye. More than 100 miners are believed to have lost their lives in the tragedy.
Some miners may still be trapped underground, while efforts to establish the full extent of the incident are reportedly underway.
