Golden Rim completes diamond drilling at Kada Gold Project

Golden Rim Resources, has completed a significant drilling program at its flagship Kada Gold Project in Guinea. The diamond drilling program covered 4,200 meters and targeted the Massan and Bereko prospects.
The purpose of drilling at Massan was to explore mineralization at depth and gather additional structural information, which would be used to expand and update the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The drilling at Bereko was the company’s first diamond drilling campaign at that prospect. The results confirmed the width and grade of mineralization and provided information about the orientation of mineralization within the area.
Drilling process
The drilling intersected areas with intense veining in multiple orientations, and mineralization was found in three main orientations, consistent with previous findings. All the data obtained from this drilling campaign, as well as previous trenching, RC drill, and AC drilling, are being incorporated into Golden Rim’s internal modeling. This information will be used to prepare a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Bereko prospect and update the MRE for the Massan prospect.
The Managing Director of Golden Rim Resources, Tim Strong, expressed his satisfaction with the productive field season and the critical insights gained into the nature and orientation of mineralization. The company is confident that this new information will result in significant growth in their Mineral Resource Estimate. Additionally, he mentioned that recent new discoveries, such as the one in Sounkou’s first RC hole (17m @ 1.3 g/t), have been made, indicating the potential for further expansion of the Kada Project. The company expects to deliver the updated MRE and the Maiden MRE for Bereko during the second half of the calendar year 2023.
