Atlantic Lithium issues drilling results for Ewoyaa Lithium Project

Atlantic Lithium Limited, has issued drilling results for Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana. Neil Herbert, Executive Chairman of Atlantic Lithium, gave the report and highlighted promising assay results.

Notable intersections were obtained from drilling at the Dog-Leg target, situated on the northern edge of the Ewoyaa Main deposit. These intersections included impressive grades and broad near-surface extensions, such as 69 meters at 1.25% Li2O from 45 meters. He also referenced previous positive results, like 83 meters at 1% Li2O from 36 meters in hole GRC1020, reported last month.

The company has completed additional resource extension drilling at the Dog-Leg target, totaling 874 meters, as part of its growth program for 2024. Herbert expressed anticipation for further drilling results and the planned Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) upgrade targeted for the second half of 2024. This upgrade will incorporate all drilling results from 2023 and pending results for 2024, encompassing updates on lithium and feldspar.

Herbert additionally mentioned the successful completion of the plant site sterilization program, enabling the company to proceed with mine site designs and permitting processes. He concluded by expressing the company’s commitment to updating shareholders on its ongoing progress. These developments underscore Atlantic Lithium’s dedication to advancing the Ewoyaa Lithium Project and its potential as Ghana’s first lithium mine.
