Drilling works begin at Liparamba Nickel Project in Tanzania
The Australia-listed Resource Mining Corporation (RMI) has commenced its first-ever 2,000-meter reverse circulation drill program at the Liparamba Nickel Project in Southern Tanzania. The primary objective of this drilling initiative is to identify nickel resources within the project area.
The fieldwork conducted during the drill program has already led to the identification of sulphides within mafics along the two-kilometer-long southern corridor of the project. This is an encouraging development as sulphides are often associated with nickel mineralization.
Unlocking potential
The drilling process is expected to take approximately four to five weeks to complete. Once the drilling is finished, the collected samples will be analyzed, and the results are anticipated to be available in the next quarter.
RMI’s CEO, Andrew Nesbitt, expressed confidence in the drill program’s success in advancing the company’s strategy of discovering significant nickel resources within their Tanzanian project portfolio. The results of the drill program will provide valuable information about the potential presence and extent of nickel mineralization in the Liparamba Nickel Project area.
