Steadright Critical Minerals, NSM Capital in MoU for titanium project in Morocco

Steadright Critical Minerals Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NSM Capital, a Moroccan firm that controls a 160 km² stretch of mineral exploration licenses. These licenses are located along the Atlantic coast in the Cape Juby Strip, an area known for its titanium-rich beach sands.
Under the terms of the agreement, Steadright has the option to earn up to an 80% stake in the TitanBeach Titanium Project. The project targets the extraction of Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂), a substance classified as a critical mineral by numerous major economies including Canada, the U.S., and the European Union.
Economic potential
To advance the project, Steadright has initiated a National Instrument 43-101 technical study, which is scheduled to begin within a week. This report will support the assessment of mineral resources and help determine the project’s economic potential. A historical sample collected in 2023 from the site indicated promising concentrations 42% iron and 4.7% titanium. Additional samples are being gathered to provide a more comprehensive resource evaluation as part of the upcoming study.
Titanium Dioxide continues to experience growing demand across global markets, driven by its use in industries such as aerospace, defense, and high-grade pigments. Supply chain disruptions, rising raw material costs, and restricted exports from key producers like China have further tightened global supply. These conditions have led to sustained increases in TiO₂ prices, making new exploration projects such as TitanBeach particularly attractive to investors.
Steadright’s CEO, Matt Lewis, emphasized Morocco’s favorable business climate for mining ventures. He pointed out the country’s five-year tax exemption for mineral producers and its welcoming regulatory environment. Lewis expressed strong confidence in the TitanBeach Titanium Project and described Morocco as a prime location for responsible and profitable resource development.
