Madison Metals begins drilling program at Khan Uranium Project

Madison Metals Inc. has kicked off drilling program at Khan Uranium Project in Namibia. The Khan Uranium Project, is an active uranium exploration venture located in Namibia’s Erongo region, an area known for its uranium deposits.

The drilling program will target areas previously outlined in April 2024.  The firm had carried out a geological mapping at the Khan Project ahead of the drilling program. The mapping program consisted of infill geological mapping, ground scintillometer, and spectrometer surveys over the previously announced Anomaly 5 drill targets.

Sustainable mining

Previously, Madison had reported surface sample assays at Anomaly 5, which included 9 m grading 0.25% triuranium octoxide (U3O8), including 1 m grading 1.28% U3O8, in Trench 4, 9 m grading 0.39% U3O8 in Trench 5 and 5 m grading 0.12% U3O8 in Trench 3.

The company plans to release results as they become available and once they have been fully analyzed.
