Joburg Indaba a meeting of great minds

The 2025 Joburg Indaba, now in its 13th year, is scheduled for 8 and 9 October 2025 at the Inanda Club, Sandton.
Renowned as a gathering of high-calibre decision-makers deeply invested in the resources and mining sector, the Joburg Indaba is a meeting place for industry thought-leaders from all stakeholder groups– including mining companies, government representatives, SOEs, investors, business organisations, and advisory and legal firms.
Highlights at this year’s Indaba include:
- An opening keynote session in conversation with Duncan Wanblad, chief executive Anglo American, on Anglo American’s perspective on South Africa and Africa.
- A keynote address by Paul Dunne, president of Minerals Council South Africa and CEO, Northam Platinum, on the trade-offs between growth and transformation: can we achieve both at the same time?
