Forklift Driver Competition taking place at Electra Mining Africa

Promoting safety and efficiency between forklift drivers

Entries for the Forklift Driver competition, taking place at Electra Mining Africa, Nasrec Johannesburg, from 2 – 6 September 2024, are now open.

Lifting Africa and LEEASA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of SA) urge businesses to enter their skilled employees in this renowned competition and reward and recognise them for their skills, hard work, and dedication. Forklift operators can also nominate themselves by completing a simple online entry form.

The Forklift Driver of the Year competition is a fantastic way for warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing centres to position themselves as leaders in forklift safety and efficiency. The competition aims to recognise and reward highly skilled and safety-conscious operators.

Goscor Lift Trucks, Acrow Racking and Shelving, Worldwide Load Testing Specialist, tib Insurance, RFDIGI, Advanced Logistics and REYN are the sponsors of the forklift driver competition. The Forklift Driver Competition is also endorsed by CILTSA (The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) and RFA (Road Freight Association)

Entry is free, and all participants must possess a valid forklift license.

The winner will receive a trophy and a cash prize and be crowned the FORKLIFT DRIVER CHAMPION!
