ENRG Elements renews exploration permits for Agadez Uranium Project

ENRG Elements has announced a successful renewal of exploration permits for the Agadez Uranium Project in Niger. Enrg Elements managing director Caroline Keats made the announcement and said the move follows positive engagement between ENRG Elements and Niger Mines Department officials.
The renewed permits covering approximately 726km², is now extended until November 2027. The Agadez Uranium Project is located in the Tim Mersoi Basin of Niger. Since acquiring the site in May 2022, ENRG Elements has made significant strides, notably a 5,500m drilling campaign that doubled the Mineral Resource Estimate at the Takardeit Deposit. The deposit now stands at 31.2 million tonnes at 315 parts per million of U3O8, amounting to 21.5 million pounds of U3O8 in the Inferred category.
Potential
Additional ground surveys and trenching have further confirmed the geological potential of the Agadez Project. ENRG Elements’ managing director, Caroline Keats, emphasized the company’s growing confidence in the region’s mining sector and the opportunities for advancing exploration.
In addition to its efforts in Niger, ENRG Elements expanded its portfolio in August 2024 by acquiring the Lamont Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan, Canada. Keats highlighted that this acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy of diversifying jurisdictional risk while unlocking new exploration potential.
