Bosch Rexroth Africa to participate in WAMPEX 2024
Bosch Rexroth Africa, a leading provider of drive and control technologies, is gearing up to participate in the 17th West African Mining & Power Expo (WAMPEX).
The expo will be held in Accra, Ghana, from 5 – 7 June 2024. As a key participant, the company aims to engage with mining houses, contractors, and other industry sectors to promote its comprehensive offerings.
The company will showcase a wide range of Bosch Rexroth products, such as filtration systems, hose and fittings, as well as Hägglunds drives. “Our unique value proposition lies in the company’s ability to provide a one-stop shop for mining sites, offering consignment stock of filters, components and a complete hose and fitting workshop. In addition, we can assist with plant and machine inspections, providing reports and recommendations on our findings,” says Alex Booth, Regional Manager of West Africa, Bosch Rexroth Africa.
Driving sustainable investment
In line with the expo’s theme of shaping the future and driving sustainable investment opportunities, Bosch Rexroth Africa plans to leverage networking opportunities to further its business interests in West Africa. Booth adds that the company also aims to contribute to discussions on sustainability and developing diversified economies by engaging with senior role players in the agriculture, energy and general industries. In addition, the Group will address industry challenges and trends, particularly focusing on new legislation on local procurement,” comments Booth.
“We will have our technical service personnel available for explanations and product demonstrations. Senior Hägglunds Drives South Africa technical engineers will join them to address the growing interest in the company’s applications,” Booth states.
He is optimistic about the upcoming expo: “WAMPEX provides a platform for collaboration between global leaders and local stakeholders within the West African mining and power sectors. WAMPEX is expecting to host over 2 000 decision-makers, offering extended networking opportunities, technical workshops and product demonstrations.
