Caterpillar, Simformotion extend deal on heavy equipment supply

Caterpillar and Simformotion have announced to have inked an extension deal to provide heavy equipment training simulators worldwide. This partnership emphasizes the dedication to training heavy equipment operators using advanced Cat® Simulators and signifies the importance of their collaboration in offering innovative training solutions.
Commitment
The agreement grants Simformotion continued access to Cat technical data, product engineers, and operator experts, facilitating the development of accurate and realistic operator training in Cat Simulators. Lara Aaron, CEO of Simformotion, expressed their focus on leveraging technology to design Cat Simulators that enhance safety training, boost operator productivity, and minimize machine maintenance costs for the foreseeable future.
The latest training simulator systems encompass the Backhoe Loader and Hydraulic Mining Shovel, featuring authentic Cat controls and the capability to convert models within the same base unit. Additionally, companion curriculum packages called SimScholarsTM are available for each model. These online curriculums align one-to-one with Cat Simulators training exercises and include instructor guidance, videos, lessons, quizzes, and more, catering to both classroom and remote learning environments.
“For the last 15 years, we’ve been working together to develop Cat Simulators for the construction, mining, and forestry industries. WE aim to continue with the focus for years to come,” said Lara Aaron, Simformotion CEO.
